About
Tranquil Path

Our comprehensive approach makes us different.

What moves us forward

Tranquil Path Financial Planning was founded with the idea that financial planning is a helping profession.

Our goal as a company is not just to help you grow richer. We approach money as a tool to help people and their families create lasting joy and fulfillment.

Our mission is to help the families of people with disabilities support their loved ones by planning for their own future, along with the unique needs of their loved ones.

Our guiding principles

Tranquil Path Financial Planning was built upon three pillars that reflect our values when working together with our clients.

  • We are fiduciaries in the strictest sense. Your needs are our top priority.

  • Financial planning is a collaborative process, which is why we team up with you to create your plan.

While we provide you with precise recommendations, you are still in charge of your financial decision.

  • Nothing is more important to us than ensuring your financial needs are met with timeliness and accuracy.

That’s why we always promptly respond to your questions and deliver our recommendations.

More importantly, we do not insert our values and our goals on you.

What makes Tranquil Path different

Our plans focus on your goals and motivations

Our approach is designed to be tailored to your priorities. No two people are the same; we strive to tailor our process around the goals and motivations of our clients. For this reason, our first step when onboarding a client is to work with them to plan out our upcoming meetings. Setting aside time for this ensures that we cover your burning questions promptly and efficiently while looking for planning opportunities and fires along the way.

We are experienced in helping people impacted by Disabilities navigate their financial path

For us, special needs planning isn’t an afterthought. Having a disability or having a loved one with a disability will impact your entire financial plan in ways that most planners don’t know to anticipate. We are trained and are experienced in working with people with disabilities and their families. This helps ensure that we are able to make your plan work for your unique needs.

Fixed Fee structure minimizes conflicts of interest

We are 100% fee-only. None of our compensation comes from commission.

Your fee is based on your assets, your income, and the complexity of your financial situation. This structure is designed to remove conflicts. The fee is set up front and won’t change if you need extra meetings. Typically, your fee will change no more than once a year.

Most of our clients’ fees range from $7,000 to $30,000 for the first year.

Tax focused

Taxes touch every portion of your finances. They are everywhere, from investments to employee benefits to estate planning.

Strategies to reduce taxes over your lifetime are some of the best ways to grow your wealth and help you achieve your goals. Best of all, many of these strategies are pain-free (apart from needing to talk about tax!

For this reason, we consider the tax implications of every recommendation we make.
